Eurocarsmazda Artarmon is expecting to see a continuation of the trend in more new car buyers seeking affordability and fuel economy in the first quarter of 2009, as economic worries impact people’s decisions on which car model they buy in the new year.
In the final quarter of 2008, the Mazda 3 and Mazda 2 were by far the most popular models sold at Sydney Mazda’s leading Artarmon Mazda dealership, Eurocars.
Artarmon Mazda Dealer Principal, Tim Garner, expects this trend to continue well into 2009.
Another significant trend among budget-conscious buyers is choosing to buy used cars instead of new cars. Eurocarsmazda Used Car Manager, David Conway, said more buyers were interested in Eurocars’ high quality used car range due to economic factors.
